The 1st Workshop on Computing Architecture for Edge Computing (ArchEdge)
Call for Papers
Edge computing emerges as a critical technology component of modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry due to the ever-growing population of mobile users. Many unique properties, such as fast response time, high data security and privacy, low power consumption etc., are essential for the computing architecture of edge computing applications. The objectives of this workshop is to promote research and development of the computing architecture for edge computing through disseminations of the state-of-the-art research and discussions between researchers and practitioners. The workshop will be co-located with the third ACM/IEEE Symposium on Edge Computing (SEC) on October 27, 2018 at Bellevue, WA, USA.
We invite submissions of extended abstracts (1-page) of novel research on computing architecture of edge computing, including but not limited to:
- Computing architecture
- Memory and storage systems
- Workload offloading
- Mobile computing systems
- Low power design
- New computing models
- Secure and safe computing
- Data privacy preserving computing
All submission must be sent to yiran.chen@duke.edu by the deadline (August 15 midnight).
