SEC’21 will be held in person at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose, in San Jose, CA. Santa Clara county currently requires masks indoors regardless of vaccination status. There will be plenty of room to ensure social distance at the conference. Speakers do not have to wear masks during their presentations; there will be plenty of distance between the podium and the audience. Feel free to let the general chairs know if you have any questions or concerns.
For international attendees: non-citizen travelers are permitted to enter the U.S. provided they are fully vaccinated and can present proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. Note that all air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before travel to the United States.
